The goal

The fifth edition of the Singapore Yacht Show was held from 23rd – 26th April 2015 and Mutant Communications enjoyed its third year of working on the Show, which has grown rapidly each year.

The Mutant team built on its 2014 efforts to boost the event’s profile among primary stakeholder groups and collaborated with the team, exhibitors and media to share targeted news and messaging.

Our plan

Working closely with the Singapore Yacht Show team, we identified the most interesting story angles and approached our contacts across relevant local, regional and international media.

We targeted relevant publications through story pitches around the event, relevant industry trends and pitched interview features with key personalities.

The outcome

The media coverage for the 2015 Singapore Yacht Show immensely surpassed that of previous years. During the show, Mutant coordinated all media interviews and media-exclusive tours of the yachts.

Notable print coverage included The Straits Times, Prestige Singapore, Tatler, Harper’s BAZAAR, Longitude Magazine, Asia Pacific Boating, Expat Living, August Man and much more.

Broadcast coverage included CNBC, Reuters, Bloomberg, BBC, Channel NewsAsia, 938Live and Lush 99.5.
